Fourth awarded Best Companies Award by The Sunday Times!

Best Companies Awards logoBy now I’m sure most of you have heard or seen that on our debut entry we made it onto the Best Companies Awards list. What makes this extra special for us is, given the rarity of companies placing on the top 100 list in their first year, we are absolutely delighted.

How did we get on the list?

Best Companies Award nightThe great thing about Best Companies as an accreditation is it is completely based on employee feedback. All survey responses are weighted and then compared against other companies and the purity is that those with the ‘best scores’ make the ‘best list’ – no gimmicks or workarounds.

In real terms, what this means for Fourth as an employer and for me as a proud member of the People Operations team, we can legitimately call ourselves one of the best employers in the UK.

This really is just one area we focus on, ensuring not only internally we are doing our best but so potential new Fourth employees can see some of the things which make us an employer of choice, why people join but also why people stay!

Our wonderful Fourth celebration cake

To celebrate ahead of the awards ceremony, we hosted a day of “Fourth Fun” where employees were encouraged to shout about why they love working at Fourth, and were also treated to some cakes and prizes.

I could ramble on about how excited we are but I'll part this piece with an invitation to take a look at our current openings and invite you to connect with us on LinkedIn, follow us on social media or just drop us an email to our careers inbox with your information to hear about future opportunities for you!
